Van 13 tot 16 november vond de 15de conferentie van de International Association of Universities (IAU) plaats in Bangkok, Thailand. ECHO vertegenwoordigde daar GAPS en presenteerde het GAPS Initiatief en de rol ervan in de context van de Sustainable Development Goals aan het internationale publiek. GAPS staat voor Global Access to Post-Secondary Education en is een initiatief van de Council for Opportunity in Education (COE), European Students’ Union (ESU), International Association of Universities (IAU), Educational Testing Service (ETS), Lumina Foundation en ECHO.
